Incentive FM on target as it raises £7,500 for wildlife trust

30 September 2014

Incentive FM Group hit its target and raised £7,500 for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust during a charity clay pigeon shoot. The event was held at the Horne Clay Pigeon Club in Reigate, Surrey, and also included a charity auction.

Nine teams entered the event, each consisting of five friends, colleagues or customers. Teams were entered as Regular, Occasional and Novice standards, allowing individuals to compete against people of similar abilities. Participants were treated to an extraordinary display of skill and accuracy by multiple world champion clay shot George Digweed.

During his illustrious career, George has won 116 International Championships and 23 World Championships. The 2015 event will be at the same venue and the company plans to field 100 guns for the first time and in the process make an even bigger contribution to its chosen charity. The event is open to all but more specifically the FM industry.

Jeremy Waud, Chairman, Incentive FM Group, said: “The charity clay pigeon shoot was a fantastic event and it was a privilege to witness George Digweed, one of the country’s most successful sportsman, show us how it should be done! We are pleased to raise £7,500 for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which is a very worthy cause. The money will make a real difference when it comes to protecting and preserving endangered species across Africa, including elephants and Black Rhino.”
