Systopia brings the cashless revolution to County Kildare

18 August 2014

Systopia, has secured a contract with a multinational technology firm. The provider manufactures cashless systems, cashless vending and cashless catering for contract caterers.

The introduction of their system can transform payment processes and provide employees with numerous advantages.

At their large Irish site in County Kildare, staff number around 8,000. For the first time, they have combined access control with food and beverage payment on staff ID cards, which interact with four on-site canteens and four dual-priced vending machines.

Systopia’s system has already helped to reduce queuing time dramatically as there is no need to count cash and wait for the change, greatly enhancing speed of service and the customer experience.

In addition, Systopia offers analytical tools which monitor food sales, allowing more diligent, informed decisions on menu choices and stock control. The system will help catering staff identify peak and quieter times of business, keeping overheads to a minimum and ensuring greater efficiency on staff hours and opening times.

A further benefit includes the ongoing introduction of loyalty points and promotion schemes to the four main canteens, which will help to drive sales and promote specific products, encouraging repeat custom and increasing footfall.

Chris Lyons, Managing Director of Systopia, said: “We are pleased to announce another substantial contract within the technology sector. Having worked meticulously with other global blue-chip clients to improve their service standards and security, we are proud to see this progress being recognised and we look forward to making further strides in this area of the market.

“Initial feedback regarding online web top-ups, speed of service and overall system versatility has been overwhelmingly positive since the system went live.  We have every confidence our integrated package will continue to make a marked difference to our client’s on-site convenience and efficiency.”

Using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, Systopia’s cashless systems integrate directly with proximity cards, such as security, ID or membership cards.  With the way that transactions take place changing rapidly, more and more businesses are beginning to realise the need to embrace cashless technology.

Partnerships have been confirmed with companies working across business and industry, further education, contract catering, hospitality, leisure and more.  Systopia is leading the way in this cashless revolution, offering cashless systems combining modern, high-class and reliable EPOS systems and cashless vending.
