Gamma's new framelights: 'A flexible solution' for retail lighting

24 July 2014

The new range of single and twin LED framelights from Gamma Illumination is said to offer a flexible display and ambient lighting solution for retail applications.  It is also said to be a viable alternative to HID and AR111 framelights.

The fully adjustable LED framelights, part of the Sysion MF Mini family, are built around the Tridonic SLE module and converter, providing a system efficacy of up to 113lm/tcW.

Fitted with a 40° multi-faceted reflector as standard and a 24° option, theyare said by the company to offer an optical efficiency of 93%.  With up to 3000 lumen output per head, a choice of Ra80 and Ra90 colour rendering, 3000K and 4000K options, they are suitable for retail lighting applications.

Furthermore, each framelight features two gimbal fixing positions allowing individual adjustments to suit ambient and display lighting requirements. This added flexibility offers great potential for product customisation such as different modules and lumen output combinations to address specific lighting requirements. In addition, the recessed gimbal position minimises glare and protrusion from the ceiling allowing for a discreet finish.

The Sysion MF Mini LED framelights feature:
• Dimming and integral LED emergency options
• Beam angle and colourway options
• Single and twin versions available
• Highest lumen output (BLO) and best energy efficiency (HE) options
• Excellent efficacy to aid Part L compliance
• A life of 50,000 hours (L70)

Over the coming months the framelight range will be extended to other modules, further developments will be announced at
