Sponsored: Savortex launches Smart Rental Plan for energy efficient hand-dryers

04 June 2013

British manufacturer Savortex has launched a smart rental plan for its Vortex EcoSmart hand-dryer range which allows organisations to rent and implement their hand dryers and offset the cost of purchase against the energy savings

Savortex, the young and ambitious, technology-driven British Manufacturer of super energy efficient hand dryers has launched a smart rental plan which allows organisations to rent and implement their hand dryers and offset the cost of purchase against the energy savings their products create.

SAVORTEX is the first hand dryer manufacturer to achieve a Guinness World Records title for the energy efficiency of its Vortex EcoSmart dryer, when four pairs of hands were dried using just 24kJ of energy. Typically, a conventional dryer uses 69kJ to 94kJ of energy per dry.

The Vortex EcoSmart dryer uses just 550W of energy consumption, representing up to an 88% cost and energy reduction compared to dryers that can consume as much as 1600W to 2300W. The Vortex uses super low energy, which means 43 pairs of hands can be dried for the cost of just 1p – this is a 99% cost saving against the cost of one paper towel.

Syed Ahmed, Managing Director, SAVORTEX said: “The implementation of energy efficiency measures is a key strategic component of our business plan. We strongly believe there is an exceptional mutual fit that will meet the needs of organisations that are looking for energy efficient technologies in their buildings.”

He went on to say: “We believe this type of financial model will add to the bottom line and enable organisations to meet their energy reduction targets. The Smart Rental Plan is easily accessible and will improve business profitability. We are so confident about the cost savings; we are offering a trial of our Vortex dryers which is connected to an energy meter in the washrooms to clearly demonstrate the potential energy savings that can be achieved.”
