Acquisition journey continues for Maxim

18 July 2018

Following its statement of intent to deliver growth through strategic acquisitions, Maxim Facilities Management has announced the purchase of the cleaning division of Gillsbrook FM Services for an undisclosed sum.

This follows the company's acquisition of Tyneside-based Let's Clean North East last month and its statement that it will continue to consider additional purchases, according to the Chronicle Live website.

It is aiming to achieve a turnover of £20m within the next three years and expects to employ around 2,000 employees at this stage.

The company currently employs approximately 1,200 people and a turnover in excess of £10m following its latest acquisition.

It also intends to increase its geographic coverage to provide nationwide cleaning and FM services in the future.

Maxim states that it is the largest FM service provider in the North East of England and has been particularly successful in the education sector.

Its purchase of the Gillsbrook cleaning division will now provide a base in the South West, where the company plans to explore more opportunities.
