Jones FM wins Best Business Award

22 June 2018

Jones FM is a building services and facilities management company who offer planned preventative maintenance on either a mobile or static engineer basis for building owners, managing agents and facilities managers.

They also have a full project team of support staff who are available to quote for additional works required by clients. This team consists of a full range of specialised professionals such as M&E engineers, In-house drainage specialists, asset management services, carpenters, plasterers, floor layers and decorators. They have been named winner of Best Customer Focus category at the 2018 Best Business Awards.

The company was recognised for its energy saving achievement at Chiswick Park, the 1.8 million sq ft business campus located in West London. In the last year, Jones FM has managed to save over 3 million kWh on the park. This was mainly accomplished through a LED replacement lights programme. Chiswick Park also invested in an energy analytics platform in three buildings, allowing energy usage to be monitored every 15 minutes, flagging any high or unusual usage that could be altered or better controlled. Furthermore, all rainwater harvest pumps and controls were replaced to be pumped into the lake, reducing the need for mains supply.

The BBAs pride themselves on having a large panel of independent expert judges who select winners according to strict criteria for each category and sector.

The Best Business Awards judges said: Commenting on Jones FM, the winner in the Best Customer Focus category, the chairman of the judges said: “Jones FM has provided its partner Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work with outstanding customer service that has helped it reduce energy consumption and its environmental impact. Jones FM provides mechanical and electrical building maintenance services and through a number of initiatives including introducing LED lighting, it has reduced Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work’s carbon footprint and made the site more sustainable. Jones FM works in line with its clients’ objectives and makes its own suggestions to solve issues and make improvements. Congratulations to Jones FM for providing a first-class service.”

Upon receiving the Award, Matt Coulson, CEO Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work said: We are very proud of our partner Jones FM and the team’s continuous commitment to our guests. We are delighted that our work together has resulted in this reputable recognition.
