Top brands show their support for the Safety and Health Excellence Awards

12 October 2017

Advanced, Berendsen, NEBOSH and Turner and Townsend have confirmed their support for the brand-new Safety and Health Excellence (SHE) Awards taking place on 11 April 2018 at The Vox, Birmingham.

Designed to celebrate innovation and achievements in the health, safety, security and fire sectors, the ceremony will feature nine categories awarding prizes to individuals, teams, products and services that are making waves in these industries.

The ceremony will also encompass the long-established British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Awards promoting the importance of innovation and underline the highest standards of excellence within occupational safety and health.

Turner and Townsend associate director for health and safety Jonathan Hughes said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Fire Innovation of the Year Award. At Turner and Townsend we take great pride in our excellence and innovation, and sponsoring this award is a natural fit for us.

“We have seen some excellent innovations in fire safety in recent years, such as hearing aids that link to fire alarm systems via wifi, or smart cookers that interact with alarm systems to avoid unnecessary alarms.

"By sponsoring these awards, we hope to raise the profile of these vital innovations that protect life safety and property, and give them the recognition that they deserve.”

Nominations are now being accepted via the website
