Continued expansion following latest company purchase

09 October 2017

AM Services Group has acquired Liverpool-based SLS Washroom Services for an undisclosed sum, as it continues its growth strategy.

Operating in Merseyside, Cheshire and parts of Wales, the purchase of SLS Washroom Services is intended to further strengthen market penetration in Northern England and Wales for AM Services.

The move follows the previous acquisition of a Stoke-on-Trent-based specialist cleaning company.

Originally formed in 2005, SLS Washroom Services is a family-owned and operated business.

Former director Steve Handley said the business aimed to deliver "a reliable, friendly and flexible service to small and medium size businesses who preferred not to deal with the large multinational companies that dominate the sector.

"We were keen to find a purchaser who would provide the same reliable, friendly and flexible service that we worked hard to provide," he said.

AM Services Group managing director Adrian Cresswell said: "It's never easy for a company to give up its identity to another, especially when it has such a sense of local pride and reputation.

"We are certain that we will do the business and the people of Liverpool proud with our caring approach, willingness to listen and the 'One Team, One Goal' ethos of our staff."
