PES becomes latest acquisition for Bellrock

06 October 2017

Planned Engineering Services (PES) has been acquired by Bellrock for an undisclosed sum, it was announced yesterday.

It is the latest of a number of similar acquisitions for Bellrock that have seen its employee numbers increase to 695.

PES is a provider of planned and reactive maintenance services across the Midlands and Southern England.

Yesterday's statement said the business will continue to operate from its Middlesex headquarters with Hasi Patel remaining as head of the company.

Founded in 2012, PES mainly operates in the healthcare, business services and education sectors.

Its purchase is designed to further enhance Bellrock's self-delivery capability for business-critical planned and reactive maintenance.

The company has completed six acquisitions over the last 18 months, supported by investor Lyceum Capital.

Bellrock chief executive officer David Smith said his company was impressed with the "robust self-delivery capability and outstanding team" at PES, as well as its technology platform.

"The bespoke resource deployment and management system will support our engineers and improve how we benchmark our supply chain performance and the ability to successfully deliver planned and reactive maintenance services," he said.
