Response required for sustainability survey

25 September 2017

A research project is currently being conducted to measure sustainability within FM, with all members of the industry invited to take part.

The Sustainable FM Index (SFMI) is designed to provide an opportunity to benchmark the FM sector against sustainable performance and delivery.

Included within the aims of the sustainability survey is the measurement of the coverage, extent and the methods used.

SFMI says as sustainability engagement grows in the sector it is key that the methods and metrics are in place to understand performance along sustainability lines.

It uses the adage "what gets measured gets managed" to emphasise that measurement of sustainability performance is critical for successful future management.

The survey can be completed here.
