Premier Technical Services Group Plc Acquires UK Sprinklers Ltd.

Premier Technical Services Group Plc (PTSG) is delighted to announce today the acquisition of UK Sprinklers Ltd (UKS). The business, based in Bury, is a specialist in the installation, maintenance and testing of sprinkler systems.

Paul Teasdale, Group CEO, said: “We are delighted to welcome UK Sprinklers Ltd as our latest addition to the Group; this acquisition offers a new service line to complement our existing extensive offering as the UK largest Niche Specialist Service Provider.”

“We are fully committed to the continuation of a successful strategy of achieving market leadership across the sectors in which we operate, and this acquisition will be a new component of our Fire Solutions offering, expanding the service lines within the Group and exposing our brand to new and existing clients.”

PTSG’s Fire Solutions division now comprises the UK’s leading Dry Riser Installation and Testing and Maintenance business, and a market-leading Sprinkler Installation, Testing and Maintenance business.

“The company will retain its management team which will continue to grow and expand the business as it is integrated into PTSG’s Fire Solutions division.

"Mike Charlton and Steven Griffiths will continue to lead UKS and their vast experience and technical ability will make them very much a part of the highly skilled PTSG team.”

PTSG is the UK’s leading provider of façade access and fall arrest equipment services; lightning protection, electrical testing and fire solutions; high-level cleaning; and training solutions.
