Office supply services extended by latest acquisition

31 August 2017

Premier Workplace Services (PWS) has announced it has purchased used office furniture and equipment retailer Office Resale for an undisclosed sum.

As a result, PWS has taken control of the retail channel and now has direct access to a wider marketplace for office furniture refurbished and repaired at its award-winning Renew Centre.

The two companies have worked closely together for a number of years and, following the acquisition, the Office Resale team has now joined the Premier operation.

PFM has been informed that there are no plans to change the Office Resale brand or online presence, although plans are being formulated to align both brands without compromising their individual identities.

A spokesperson for PWS told PFM: "We are keen to ensure that Premier's clients can benefit from consistent supply of quality reused office furniture and the fit with Office Resale will enable us to achieve this."

PWS managing director Jerry Marks expressed his delight at the acquisition of the closely-aligned business.

"With our investment in sustainable office furniture services we recognise the importance of managing the sales channels for these products.

"Office Resale has developed a very strong brand in this market place and a reputation for quality.

"We welcome the team on board and look forward to helping divert even more office furniture back into reuse," said Mr Marks.
