Honeybourne Facilities Group leading experts in property care and management

12 July 2017

Honeybourne Facilities Group based in Sutton Coldfield, have considerable experience in a variety of projects from small repairs to large scale alterations, extensions, etc.

Honeybourne who work extensively within the Commercial, Education and Health Care sectors and on local authority projects where the utmost care is required, can deliver a project specifically tailored to suit the clients requirements, whilst ensuring minimum disruption whilst the projects are underway.

With their wealth of experience they have designed a solution where a fully workable chalet/log cabin can be delivered into schools for pupils of all ages in various situations.

The learning chalet is the perfect answer to any school that is looking for temporary or additional space.

The chalet can be utilised for a number of different needs such as: Classroom, library, sensory room, washroom block, medical facility, physio rooms, after school accommodation.

The benefit of these chalets is that they are flexible for installation to all locations.

The winning advantage is that they do not require a crane for the installation process, the unit is off-loaded by hand and then the structure is built in sections.

Which means these chalets can be assembled and in place within two weeks (with one weeks notice).

The learning chalet is utilised by Birmingham City Council (one of the largest authorities in the country).

Over 30+ chalets have been installed at a number of schools within the Birmingham area within the last 12 months including; Chad Vale, Moor Hall, Kings Rise Academy, Shirestone Academy, Ward End and West Heath, with more to be rolled out over the next few weeks during the summer holidays so they are ready in place for the new school year.

Paul Samson from Chad Vale Primary School commented: “Our-learning chalet is perfect for the purpose of small group learning and teaching and provides a calming and welcoming multi-purpose space that both the children and teachers love”.

Doug Hunt, Managing Director of Honeybourne commented: “We are delighted to be working be working on such an innovative project which is enabling schools to have almost an instant solution.

"The chalets are of the very highest standard and feel any school would welcome the multi-purpose space that can be used for a variety of needs”
