OCS security team win Regional British Security Industry Association (BSIA) award

05 July 2017

The OCS security team at Southmead Hospital have been named as winners at the 2017 Regional BSIA Security Personnel Awards, taking top honours in the Best Team in the South West category.

Now in the nineteenth year, the BSIA awards are held to recognise the outstanding achievements and invaluable contributions made by professionals working within the UK’s private security industry.

The regional award presentations will be taking place across the UK over the coming months, with each of the winners being put forward to the national judging phase of the awards.

The national winners will then be announced at the Association’s Annual Luncheon in London on July 12th.

Bob Taylor, OCS CEO UK commented: “This is a great moment for OCS and the team at Southmead Hospital.

"Security in healthcare environments is of critical importance, so it’s a source of great pride to receive this industry accolade. I am confident OCS will continue to build on this great work.”

Southmead Hospital forms part of the North Bristol NHS Trust that provides community healthcare and hospital services to Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
