Combined Technical Solutions acquires Banyard Maintenance

05 July 2017

With the stated intention of driving growth in South East England, Combined Technical Solutions (CTS) has announced the purchase of Banyard Maintenance for an undisclosed sum.

CTS managing director John Warburton said the purchase would see 20 staff transfer from Banyard Maintenance to CTS under TUPE.

"This will further support our vision to be the supplier of choice in the M&E maintenance market within the UK," he said.

CTS was formed in 1999, initially to deliver specialist air conditioning and refrigeration planned maintenance and project-related works to the private sector.

This was further extended and saw the business expand to provide mechanical, electrical and fabric-based maintenance and reactive service.

"Banyard Maintenance are a company whose values mirror our own so the acquisition was a perfect match," said CTS business development manager James Gill.

"Going forward we will steadily integrate Banyard's staff, visions and values into our own business and continue to deliver hard services maintenance."

Mr Gill stated that CTS has enjoyed controlled growth in its competitive market, continuing to ensure its commitment and service delivery retains its high standards, resulting in "an extremely high customer retention rate".

"Our focus today is to provide high quality building services, utilising qualified engineering resource with the most up-to-date field technologies with a 'hands on' management style," said Mr Gill.
