One week left to enter PFM Awards 2017
11 May 2017
There is just one week left for companies to submit their entries to this year's PFM Awards within the 12 Partnership categories.
Individuals wishing to enter the Young Leader of the Year and Account Director of the Year categories have until 9 August and 14 July respectively to submit their entries.
Interest in the awards has been noticeably higher than 2016, showing the increasing level of appreciation of the quality of the event throughout the FM sector.
This follows reports from the 2016 judging team, many of whom have been involved for a number of years, that standards of entry were noticeably increasing year on year.
Further impetus this year has followed the many favourable responses to the 2016 awards presentation ceremony, held last November at London's The Brewery.
As a result, a steady of flow of phone calls and emails has been received by the PFM team from interested parties registering interest for this year's event.
Following next week's deadline, all entries will be collated and the process to decide the list of finalists will then be initiated, leading to the official announcement of this next month.
Those confirmed as finalists will then be invited to submit their entries for the Partnership Team Member award, who should be non-managerial members of staff who have excelled in all areas of their work.
The details of the finalists in each category will be passed to the judging panel for them to arrange visits to the finalists' sites and conduct interviews, which will also include Partnership Team Member applicants.
Once all interviews with finalists have been completed, the judges will meet in a central London location in October to decide the winners of each category.
All winners of the PFM Awards 2017 will receive their trophies on 1 November at London's The Brewery.
A number of enquiries have been received by the PFM team regarding flexibility within the 17 May deadline.
While a few day's grace is possible, all entrants are being asked to a 250 word summary of their entry by 17 May as a minimum requirement, with the full entry following as soon as possible.
These should be posted to the IML office, publisher of PFM magazine, or emailed direct to dennis.flower@imlgroup.co.uk
