Further FM support for Mental Health Week

10 May 2017

Understanding the need to tackle mental health issues is being promoted by Mental Health Week, with an increasing number of FM companies voicing their support.

Further emphasis is also being placed on the issue through industry bodies and associations publicising the impact that poor mental health can have on workers in all areas.

NJC is one of the FM companies that have organised a series of events to support the aims of the Mental Health Foundation, the only UK charity to focus specifically on this area.

In addition to providing a free 24-hour, year-round helping for employees, NJC is also organising fund raising initiatives to support the foundation.

These include establishing teams to take part in a five-a-side football tournament, all proceeds of which will go to the Mental Health Foundation.

Those wishing to take part can email Nicky Rifat, to register their interest and gain further information.

The company is also running a raffle to provide entrants with the opportunity to win Legoland prizes, Eden Project tickets, a signed Arsenal FC football and Love to Shop vouchers, which will close at the end of this month.

NJC staff at the company's Winnersh head office are also taking part in a Dress Down Friday initiative this Friday, with participants paying £2 each to raise further funds for the Mental Health Foundation.
