Rebrand for Mitie's document management division

19 December 2016

Mitie has announced that its document management business will be rebranded as Mitie Connect, reflecting the innovative options it now provides.

Increased focus will also be placed on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tool sets, the cloud and smart building technologies into client services, the company announced.

This will further increase its established services of providing embedded innovation, with recent projects including the implementation of Hybrid Mail into the second largest UK local authority and new mail tracking technology for numerous clients.

Mitie Connect said that emerging technologies, including AI, will become more ubiquitous within business and can be applied within the FM space.

There will also be a strong focus on digitisation and traditional document management services will continue to be offered to all clients.

Managing director James Gilding said: "The connected world offers a huge amount of opportunity for us to evolve the delivery of our services and truly enhance the benefits to our clients.

"We are looking forward to delivering innovative document management solutions to our clients and teams," he said.

The rebrand was also announced to an exclusive audience at an event including leaders from Microsoft, Vodafone, Samsumg and TBS Mobility.
