Living Wage Week 2016

31 October 2016

This week is designated as Living Wage Week, designed to raise awareness of the current rates and the need to focus on fair pay.

Today will see the publication of the Living Wage rates around the UK, as another element of the week of recognition.

In addition to raising awareness of the need for pay rates to meet the cost of living, it is also designed to recognise employers that commit to paying fair rates of remuneration.

This will see a number of companies celebrating their participation throughout the week.

Organised by the Living Wage Foundation, the organisation will hold a number of events, media activities and the sharing of new research on the impact of low pay.
