Cleaning business acquisition announced as part of expansion strategy

05 August 2016

Announcing the acquisition of Extra Clean Property Services for an undisclosed sum, Specialised Cleaning Services (SCS) said this is part of its plans to grow the business.

Within the terms of the deal, SCS will integrate Extra Clean Property Services into its existing organisation.

The company delivers exterior cleaning services including pressure washing, window and gutter cleaning and graffiti removal.

Its services are seen as complementing those of SCS and further its expansion, which recently saw asbestos removal, planned maintenance and repairs included.

It delivers a range of specialist cleaning services across the North West region and is increasingly extending into other areas.

SCS managing director Sarah Southworth described the development as a "fantastic coup" that will "add more weight to our business".

"We will continue to employ the team under SCS and hope to add more staff to the team in the coming months as this new arm gathers momentum," she said.
