Success within Kent Housing Group awards

29 July 2016

Held at Oakwood House, Kent, last month, the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards were established to recognise high quality service delivery and valuable contributions from teams and individuals.

Trophies for Excellence in Repairs and Maintenance categories were presented to Golding Services during the final ceremony.

The company was formed four years ago as the repairs and maintenance arm of Golding Homes housing association and Mitie Property Services.

Reasons for winning the trophies included the delivery of 66,000 repairs, 99% of which were completed on time, and improving customer satisfaction levels to 95%.

Golding Services has also worked with Garden Organic to create a community garden at Walshaw and Telford, resulting in recognition within the Excellent Partnership with Business category.

Kent Housing Group is a forum for social housing organisations and includes representation from all 12 Kent local authorities, Medway Council, more than 16 housing associations and Kent County Council.
