Buyout sees Agents4RM separate from OCS

20 July 2016

It was announced yesterday that Agents4RM is no longer part of the OCS Group, following a buyout of the company's shareholding.

The joint announcement by OCS Group chief executive Peter Slator and Agents4RM managing director Lionel Prodgers did not reveal the financial terms of the deal.

It was stated that the sale will see OCS "concentrate on growth opportunities for its core FM services in international markets", in addition to refocusing its activities.

This will include the provision of services to clients in education, healthcare, government, business and industry sectors.

The intention is to enable it "to channel its resources into areas where it is already strong and has the potential to grow", said the statement.

For Agents4RM, the company plans to continue to provide consultancy and information management services for client within the built environment and FM sectors.

It will continue to operate from offices in London and Dubai.

Following a number of mergers and acquisitions, the announcement is one of a small number where companies have regained their independence.
