TFM success celebrated at Irish FMA event

11 July 2016

Sodexo Ireland has been recognised as the Total Facilities Management (TFM) Service Provider of the Year at the Facilities Management Awards Ireland.

Held at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin, it was the third year the awards initiative has been held.

Sodexo Ireland employs approximately 2,000 people in 200 locations across Ireland, serving around 90,000 people on a daily basis.

The company has expanded to include catering, cleaning, asset management, security and grounds maintenance services to deliver an integrated approach.

It states that this enables it to "unlock value and achieve strategic estates objectives", allowing its clients to focus on their core business.

Less than 5% of its contracts are for single-service arrangements, the company says.

Sodexo Ireland country president Margot Slattery described the win as "fantastic news".

"Over the last few years we have been able to tap into best practice and innovation from across the world thanks to Sodexo's global structure," she said.

"This has helped our business in Ireland move from predominantly providing a single service to today where 95% of our contracts see us delivering integrated facilities management services to some 60 clients across the island of Ireland."
