Call for papers issued for Technical Symposium

Contributions to the 7th Technical Symposium are being requested by the Chartered Institute of Building Services (CIBSE) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Taking place at Loughborough University, it will be held on 5 and 6 April next year with the title of Delivering resilient, high performance buildings.

Themes will include Adapt today to shape tomorrow and Improving performance, with the aim of examining the potential of resilience to drive building performance.

Submissions are invited such as published research or slideshow presentations on a variety of topics, including innovative engineering solutions, development of knowledge-based tools and improving and maintaining occupant wellbeing.

In addition to presenting their to their peers, speakers will take part in seminar and poster sessions with other professionals.

Material should be based on recent or current research and applications, in addition to actual or potential impact on the built environment.

Applicants are invited to submit a 250 description for consideration, including the submissions's title, author's name and affiliation, email address and confirm if it is a paper or case study.
