Adcock continue to excel through its high industry standards

11 May 2016

Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning have announced that they have been accredited with ISO 9001 certification from The British Assessment Bureau for installation, service and maintenance of refrigeration and climate control equipment.

The ISO 9001 accreditation is awarded to organisations that demonstrate that they have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement which leads to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

In addition to achieving ISO 9001 accreditation the Company have also recently gained OHSAS 18001 accreditation through the same Bureau, a process which took around 4 months to complete and required several successful audits in order to gain the qualification. OHSAS 18001 is designed to clarify an organisation’s impact on health and safety issues and show how they reduce the risk of accidents and any breach in legal requirements.

The health and safety standards of the Company were also recognised in February and March this year by MACE MEP when they received Health & Safety League winner certificates for their work on the Elm House project as well as individual recognition for engineer Joe Sullivan, for continually demonstrating a high level of professionalism and adherence to health and safety standards.

In addition to the growing list of accreditations that have been awarded to the Company, Adcock have also been shortlisted for Family Business of the Year Award 2016 for the East & East Anglia region for their service levels which offer quality and value to their customers; the winner will be announced in June at the May Fair Hotel in London.

Nigel Claydon, Managing Director at Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning said “Our primary aim is to deliver service excellence in all that we do, as well as keeping our staff and those around them, safe at all times. Investing in quality and people is what makes Adcock a leader in its field and an exceptional company to work for. It’s also why over 85% of our work is repeat business, a statistic which we are very proud of.”
