Temco announces MBO

04 May 2016

Temco Facility Services has announced the completion of a management buyout (MBO) of its UK business.

This follows the previous acquisition of Temco-Euroclean by Atalian earlier this year and the strategic review of operations that followed.

It came into effect on 25 April and is designed to "empower each business to focus on its core strengths and deliver on their respective growth plans", according to the statement released yesterday.

Managing director Andrew Philpot led the MBO: “I am delighted that Temco’s UK division is to emerge as an independent business, stronger and more agile than ever before,” he said.

“We will build on our solid base, evolving and growing at a sustainable pace whilst expanding the scope of our business. I am grateful for the support of both clients and staff, who, without exception, see the MBO as a major opportunity.”

“We have robust systems in place following a recent review, which leaves us in a very strong position operationally.

"With an established and energised management team, and an increased focus on customer service, I look forward to this new chapter in the company’s history.”

Temco won its first UK contract in 2001 and has subsequently developed a client base of blue chip organisations.
