University of London contracts awarded

Wide-ranging service contracts have been awarded by the University of London to Cordant Services.

These range from cleaning and security to the provision of front of house services.

The contract will see Cordant provide dedicated teams to provide services within all buildings of the university's academic and residential estate.

Running for five plus two years, the contracts include general routine cleaning periodic cleaning and ancillary services.

Also included are manned security services, including mobile patrols across the Bloomsbury Precinct, concierge and reception services.

Front of house, portering and mailroom teams will also fall under the company's remit.

More than 150 staff have been transferred to Cordant Services under TUPE regulations.
