OCS catering is on the road to success

10 December 2015

OCS held its first catering roadshow in November. Over 100 of the company’s catering team visited Leatherhead, Castle Bromwich, and Sheffield as part of a three day networking and catering demonstration event

The roadshow was organised for suppliers to showcase their latest ideas and to meet the OCS catering team. It also gave OCS staff the opportunity to learn about the latest food trends, to demonstrate the Christmas takeaway market, and to discuss how to implement innovation in client sites and restaurants.

This inaugural event is part of the transformation and change programme being implement by Paul Cowie, who has recently been appointed as the head of standards and solutions for catering. Cowie is responsible for leading the continued development of the OCS catering brand, identifying and optimising delivery models across the group’s UK divisions, and for creating growth opportunities through innovative and competitive catering solutions.
Cowie commented: “The inaugural roadshow was a fantastic success, and I am looking forward to seeing the initiatives being introduced to our catering sites, driving innovation and ultimately customer satisfaction through great food offers.” Following the success of the event, OCS catering plans to host a series of roadshows where OCS clients can watch demonstrations and see first hand the innovative solutions that are being developed by the business.
OCS’s catering solution provides bespoke packages to a wide range of industries. The company’s roadshows are a clear demonstration of the potential of the OCS food offering and service and of the strength of the OCS catering brand.
