26 November 2015

ISS Facility Services have successfully retained the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services contract at the Livingston Designer Outlet for another three years

ISS have been the incumbent supplier at the site in Livingston for eight years, supplying M&E maintenance services – to encompass automatic doors, lifts, escalators, car park barriers, CCTV and lightning protection to the 299,216 sq. ft. site.

In addition to the mechanical and electrical services, ISS will maintain the BMS controls and perform a number of compliance services on site. These include fire extinguishers, fire alarms, sprinklers, water treatment, fixed wire testing, portable appliance testing and gas certification.

The prestigious Livingston site is one of the premier shopping and leisure destinations in Scotland, with over 70 retail stores, restaurants, cafes, an eight-screen cinema and adventure golf courses. It is the largest designer outlet in Scotland and managed by Realm, who specialise in the asset management and development of retail and leisure property and are the largest designer outlet operator in the UK.

Jim Bradley, Facilities Manager at Livingston Designer Outlet said “We have an established relationship with the team at ISS and I’m happy that we can continue to develop this across the next three years”.

Jacob Christensen, Managing Director, ISS Technical Services said “We are delighted to have retained the Livingston Designer Outlet contract. Developing long term relationships is important to ISS and this retention will mean that we’ve been working with this client for over a decade. It’s important to us that we can continue to deliver both quality and value to our clients.”
