Chaophraya installs oriental plants at Edinburgh restaurant

14 October 2015

In today’s competitive restaurant market, where even TripAdvisor recommendations mention the quality of the décor, plants and hanging baskets, it is more important than ever to display top quality plants in restaurants

Plant display specialist, Benholm Group, has recently designed and installed themed planters to Thai restaurant, Chaophraya, in Edinburgh to improve the aesthetics.
Benholm Group installed 70 table centre pieces, large flower arrangements and a number of exotic feature planters to the restaurant as part of a refresh of the restaurant’s look.
A spokesman at Benholm Group explains: “We designed the planting scheme to enhance the theme of the restaurant. We used bespoke containers with a cracked-glass mosaic effect that creates attractive light reflections, and others made of real shell pieces. The plants included feature phoenix palms and mass-planted orchid displays for a truly oriental feel. Each of the planters was sourced to suit the theme of the restaurant.”
Benholm Group cares for the plants with an ongoing maintenance contract to ensure that the décor always looks its best and creates a pleasant atmosphere for diners at the restaurant.
