Electrosonic to organise Wellbeing Day for staff at EMEA head office

14 October 2015

Electrosonic, an international audio-visual systems integrator, is putting together its second annual Wellbeing Day for staff at its EMEA head office in Dartford, Kent

The event takes a holistic approach to supporting colleagues in improving their health and wellbeing through a range of traditional and complementary treatments.

The event, organised by Electrosonic themselves, aims to encourage a healthy, positive lifestyle amongst staff. This will be depicted through a range of free one-to-one sessions, classes, treatments and presentations throughout the day. Volunteering their services on the day will be a range of local health and lifestyle practitioners from the surrounding areas.

“At Electrosonic, we take a proactive approach to managing our employees’ wellbeing,” said Sarah Joyce, VP EMEA, Electrosonic. “We understand when our employees are at their best, so is our business and the services we offer. We are committed to providing a working environment which facilitates growth, achievement and creativity.”

The event will see a number of treatments being offered including a Chi Ball Class and an open discussion on the power of the mind from Fit2Relax. Bexley Massage and Wellness will be on hand to offer nutrition advice and life coaching. Besides relaxation therapies such as massage and reflexology, there will be a number of alternative treatments such as reiki, mindfulness, meditation and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

“Last year’s Wellbeing Day was great fun. As well as enjoying relaxation treatments such as a back massage, I had my blood pressure checked and learnt new ‘mindfulness’ techniques to help in pressurised situations,” commented Gemma Fabian, Marketing Manager at Electrosonic.

The Wellbeing Day is set to take place on 14 October and a future event will be held in London for Electrosonic’s staff in the City and Canary Wharf.
